Go to the Personal Information section, where you'll find a form divided into several tabs. Complete each tab with the required information to update your personal details.
a. General
- Username*: Enter a unique username for your tutor profile.
- Name*: Enter/Edit your first and last names in the provided fields. The data is
pre-filled according to the details entered in the Teacher Registration form.
- Gender*: View/Edit your formerly selected gender.
- Country*: Select your country of residence from the drop down list.
- Contact Number*: View/Edit your formerly entered country code and phone number in the
provided fields.
- Timezone*: Select your country's time zone from the drop down list. Once you
log into the system, your timezone is automatically detected and is reflected
here.
Note: If you change your timezone later, your previously selected general and weekly availability will be cleared. Please visit the Availability Calendar section to update your availability with the new timings.
- Lesson Booking Buffer Time*: Select the required time interval between the purchase and scheduling of a lesson from the drop-down list. For instance, if set to 12 hours, learners can schedule a one-on-one lesson for any available slot that begins 12 hours after placing the order.
- Notification Language Settings*: From the active languages, select the preferred
language for notifications. All the system notifications are received in the
selected language.
- Enable Trial Lesson: Use the toggle switch to activate or deactivate free trial
sessions. When deactivated, learners will not be able to book one-time free trial
lessons with you.
Click Save to save the details. Click Next to move to the next tab.
b. Photos & Videos
- Profile Picture: View or change your profile picture uploaded during
registration. To upload a new profile picture, click Edit and select an image from the internal storage. Click Remove to remove the profile picture. Once the
picture is removed, use the Add button now available to upload a new picture.
- Introduction Video Link: Paste the youtube link for your introduction video. This
is displayed on your profile page and can be viewed by the learners who visit
your profile.
Click Save to save the details. Click Next to move to the next tab.
c. Languages
The default language tab displays the mandatory A Description of Yourself field. Enter a brief
paragraph stating your experience, skills, and any other information you want
to share with the learners on the platform. In case you have added your description while registering, it will be prefilled in
the provided field. Make the edits as required.
